For active travelers, we're confident we have activities to suit almost any taste. Whether you take an invigorating kayak ride down the Trinity River (concluding with a riverside picnic feast), run and bike the trails that trace the edges of the Trinity or even take in the trail via horseback.
For business or leisure groups, we can offer customized tours of Fort Worth's Historic Stockyards-whether visiting the authentic Western shops or visiting the country's only year round rodeo which takes place on Friday and Saturday nights.
Our Guest Experience Manager (GEM) will help you plan the perfect activity while you stay at Hotel Otto.
Kayaking
Paddle the Trinity with Backwoods Outfitters
Begin your excursion at Gemelle and paddle your way through the Trinity River. Your route winds up in the west 7th corridor of Fort Worth, where you will have return travel to Hotel Otto.

Upon return to Backwoods after Kayaking:

Horseback Riding
A guided ride along the banks of the Trinity River
The trinity River Trail system winds up and down from Hotel Otto. See the trails and experience the serenity of an inner city playground that few often travel.

Biking
Pedal lightly with our Pedego electric bikes
Our electric bikes can cruise up to 20 miles per hour and can take you anywhere the Trinity River Park trail takes you, or you can cruise wherever you want.
